Teacher Kitchy had the scholars sing some parts of their number to correct their mistakes. Without the pressure of the audience and jury, all were able to deliver with ease.

The Overall Voice Mentor noticed that most had problems in diction. Unfortunately, this didn’t escape the keen ears of the jury and the scholars received harsh comments. To solve this problem, the voice coach had them recite tongue twisters.

Apart from this, the scholars didn’t seem to review their lyrics and were hesitant on where to breathe deeply. Had the Voice Mentor been their judge, she would have commented on the tons of technical violations they committed.

Though Star Scholar Liezel had the highest GPA, there were a lot of technical glitches to her performance. She was reminded that it wasn’t enough to have a good voice but she should perform as well.

Van and Iñaki were acknowledged for following the proper alignment while Bugoy was praised for proper breathing.

The women in the Academy on the other hand had a common problem of not having enough air supply. With this, they couldn’t sustain notes and were running after the song. Teacher Kitchy then had Cris demonstrate normal and proper breathing by having her lie down. True enough the Interior Designer was able to sing with much power and without catching her breath.

Everyone was urged to take these comments into consideration and apply it as much as possible. There will come a time that everyone would be on a level playing field and it was crucial for them to do correctly and stand out from the others. Will they finally be able to step up their performances to meet the standards of the mentors and the jury? Catch the latest updates on the dreamers on Uberture!
