Shy and Gerald anderson caught in the act.
KIMERALD fans would really be furious with these pics resurfacing again as Shy got the limelight upon entering the BigBrother house. Well they’re definitely a hot item…but what about the Philippines "My Girl" Kim Chiu. Gerald already denied in recent interviews that they (Shy) is an item.

Earlier this afternoon, Kuya placed crabs at the bottom of the pool to psyche the teens for today’s Uber game. Everyone stared at the crabs and silently hoped that they don’t have to come in contact with the sea creatures. After the teens left the pool area, Kuya had his "pets" taken out and replaced the creatures with a giant "crab" named Luis Manzano. The PBB host will assist Kuya in terrifying the housemates during the game with the help of steel tongs. The Crabadababoo game required the teens to gather as many of the gold coins hanging over the pool but black coins were mixed in with the gold and the housemates must avoid them at all cost. Also they have to be blindfolded and go through the task with only Shy’s voice to guide them. Kuya hinted that his pets are still waiting for the teens inside the pool making them worry about the task. The big man of the house actually just wanted the housemates to get over trust issues. The winning housemate will be getting a special trip to the Manila Ocean Park.
House Player Shy would also be given her 5th and final task. She has to make one of the housemates her new best friend. The voters decided after the poll that Beauty should become Shy’s BFF. Will Shy redeem herself after losing the handcuff task with Robi? And was she successful in annoying Nan? Watch out for these stories and more on Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus on primetime! This morning as the teens got ready for the day’s activities, Nicole was shocked to find out that Kuya however did not offer a solution for the worried housemate and instead told her to be more responsible with her things. Nikki While Nicole conducted a “clothes-hunt”, the other girls bonded over make-up. The teens noticed that Shy owns branded make-up and knew how to use them with expertise. Beauty asked Shy if she can do her make-up and Priscilla also asked the house player to do the same for her. Shy agreed and through the activity she eventually got to know the girls better. The housemates even asked her if she’s Bisaya since she knows the dialect and Shy explained that her father’s half-German and half-Bisaya. She also revealed that she often speaks the dialect when The girl talk was interrupted when Kuya announced that it was time for them to practice for their weekly task. While Nikki was fixing things in the room, Shy shared that she didn’t like to be in the house anymore and was thinking of leaving. Yet despite her earlier claim that she’s been having a hard time getting along with the rest of the housemates, Shy still got to spend time with various housemates. She took Beauty up on her offer to keep her company. Once again, Beauty was the confidante as Shy shared that she didn’t like being plastic. She wasn’t one who’d be okay after an apology. To appease her, it would be better to give her space to sort things out on her own and cool herself down. Alex, on the other hand, gave a comedic moment when he had her giggling over random topics.
The Italian Valentino also had issues of his own, specifically with Beauty’s apparent coldness towards him. Josef played the role of mediator this time (one played by Beauty with him and Nikki a while back) as he approached Beauty and prodded her to talk with Alex. “Parang high school!” teased Josef, in reference to Beauty’s same comment towards his relationship with Nikki. Beauty shared her thoughts with the other girls, who sang love songs (care of Kuya’s piped in music, no less), while Beauty shed tears amidst smiles. Moments after, she was wrapped in Alex’s arms.
Of all the housemates, Nan was one who could play whatever hand was dealt him. Always with a smile on his face, he rarely gave in to teasing, even if it was at his expense. In fact, he’d even be first in on the joke, the one who’d laugh the hardest. This time, however, the House Player dealt a pretty tough game. Shy’s third task was to irritate Nan, and the moment she stepped out of the Confession Room, she was at Nan’s side, with an endless stream of below-the-belt comments. Seemingly unaffected, Nan kept on eating, and did not even attempt to leave the table. However, he went to Kuya after and there became quite emotional in expressing his sentiments. He admitted that he had second thoughts about pushing through with PBB, feeling insecure of his limitations and lack of physical appeal. Kuya appeased him saying that no one was ugly, being made in the likeness of God. Still, Nan sought comfort from the other boys, who felt for him and showed full support. Ejay, for one, reacted on Nan’s defense. Nan really felt bad since Shy insinuated that he was really ugly and stupid. Though they all had an inkling that it was a task (Robi even noted that Shy just came from the Confession Room before the incident happened), it didn’t lessen the effect on Nan.
Kuya called Shy in and announced her success on her third task. Shy was really ecstatic about it, as her pot money has now grown to P 20,000, and exclaimed “I knew it! I’m so great!” However, she still had to fix the rift with Nan. She approached Nan, who obviously had a big shift in his treatment of the House Player. Shy claimed that Nan reminded her of her cousin, whom she missed, which was why she went overboard in teasing him. Nan, not one to hold grudges, accepted her apology and said “P is P – past is past.” All was well once again… at least, until the group task.
T
The teens were divided into two teams: Super Housemates vs. Power Teens. Nan was the odd one out and was Super Referee. Both were trying to gain possession of the power ball by competing in various challenges. It was because of the last task that Shy and another housemate got on each other’s nerves. Ejay and Shy were on the same team, and they ahd to hide the power ball from the other team. The members couldn’t find a compromise as to where to hide it and finally, Ejay stuck the power ball in the beverage fridge. Shy vehemently opposed, complaining that they could have found a better place. Rona tried to stop her, and Shy said, “Kung okay lang sa inyo matalo, e di okay!” True enough, Val saw the power ball, and the Super Housemates won 120 to 80. The super Housemates then became the “master” to their chosen “slave”. On top of being bossed around, Ejay had to wear boxing gloves, Josef had to act constipated, Robi had to be blindfolded, Rona had to talk backwards and Shy had to spin around.
In choosing their slaves, Alex initially chose Robi, but changed to Josef. This was still in line with him helping out Josef keep his word to Kuya to stay away from Nikki. The In Chick hesitated a bit, and eventually chose Robi. Val didn’t even bat an eyelash in choosing Ejay, to the Promdi Hottie’s delight. “Kahit habambuhay,” he quipped, to the others’ laughter. If punishments were always like this, he added, it was fine for him to be on the losing end anytime. Pris chose Shy, which sparked another issue.
Shy was tasked to wash dishes and Pris kept on reminding her to spin around. Shy couldn’t believe she had to do it even while washing and had to verify with Kuya before following. This irritated Pris no end, and had her muttering and complaining about Shy being a prima donna who was too lazy and refused to follow instructions. Beauty understood her side, though for her sake, warned Pris to control her words as she might be taken the wrong way. So irritated was Pris with Shy’s actions that she couldn’t agree Kuya’s comment about Shy being the most diligent. On the whole, Kuya was pleased with the clean-up and lifted the punishment.
Beauty was first up and even though she was still at the shallow part of the pool, was already panicking. She screamed a lot and refused to go further into the pool and ended up with no coins. Josef went next and he was as scared as Beauty was. He also failed getting any gold coins. Nan followed and even though he was more courageous than the Lasallite, he too didn’t score any point. Who among the teens will emerge victorious and unafraid of Kuya’s crab?
she’s missing 16 articles of clothing. Nikki’s confused for she seems to have lost her clothes overnight. She told Beauty of her dilemma and the two searched all over the girls’ bedroom but found no trace of it. Shy, whose 4th mission from Kuya was to hide Nicole’s things, kept a poker face all through out the search and even offered the girl from

Part of the teens’ challenges was to be superheroes. Another was to play the roles of slave/master to each other. Ejay was slave to Valerie, who was a stickler for order. She even made him wipe the glass table several times because she didn’t like seeing stripes or streaks that showed how it was wiped. Of course, Ejay willingly followed – any excuse to be with Val is a good one. During this time, they were made to clean the house, not just as part of the challenge but more for health purposes. They passed this with flying colors and were commended by Kuya, with the reminder to retain the cleanliness and order within the house on a regular basis.
The teens felt hunger gnawing at them, so Josef and the boys manned the kitchen. The others rummaged through the ref and figured out what food should be cooked tomorrow. Josef decided to cook pasta (al dente, no less), and instructed buddy Alex to use olive oil to be healthier. The two seem inseparable now, more so because Alex was helping Josef comply with Kuya’s orders. Later, as Nikki was washing clothes, Josef ahd to use the sink and excused himself. He had to stand next to Nikki, but he soon put a stop to that and whistled. Alex came in a heartbeat and subtly maneuvered his way in between the two. It’s a good thing Alex was in on the situation!
Meanwhile, Shy was settling in with the rest, bit by bit. While the teens were in the Confession Room, she spent the time hanging out with the guardians. Armed with humongous cards, she played with them until it was time to go back to the main house. She also got to talk with Nan and apologized for her earlier actions, especially since she felt the shift in his treatment of her. Since she couldn’t explain the real reason behind it, Shy explained that Nan reminded her of her cousin whom she misses already. She apologized for offending Nan, who graciously accepted and quipped that, “P is P – past is past!”
Later, Beauty talked to her about being true to oneself, knowing the limits of it, and adjustments. She gives her situation with Kevin before as an example, and also passes on Luis’ words of wisdom that helped her in dealing with things. Shy agreed and shared that it’s difficult to pretend. There are things that one doesn’t want to do, but sometimes, the situation calls for it. Is this an indirect revelation of her role as House Player? If so, Beauty didn’t understand it as such, at least for now. But as Kuya says, “sa takdang panahon”. Valerie urged Shy to mingle with the rest, unless she needed the space, which they would respect. Beauty assured her that, should she need to talk to someone, all she had to do was speak up and reach out, and she would be there. She follows through with it over dinner, when she sits by Shy and expresses concern on her food intake. Neither does Beauty neglect the other housemates, shown by her feeding Nikki some food while the In Chick was busy washing clothes. Because Kuya forbade the teens from going outside, Shy volunteered to hang their clothes, with Josef’s help.
It’s Mommy Jinky’s birthday tomorrow! The girls sang the minute they felt it was midnight, but promised to sing again in the morning. During this time, the girls were clustered around Nikki, who just finished her rosary and was drawing attention because of her uncharacteristic unkemptness. Beauty lamented that Kuya doesn’t call her in the Confession Room anymore, but seeing Nikki’s look, settled in and comforted Nikki with her presence.
House Player Shy was successful at the first task given her, but folded at the second. She was supposed to handcuff Robi, but after several attempts, Shy still couldn’t figure out how to do it since the Atenean moved around too much. Shy decided that it was a better to quit while she was ahead. If the boys wake up, she’d risk them figuring out that she’s been doing tasks and blow her cover. She confidently moved on to her third task, which was to irritate Nan. From his looks to his having a girlfriend to being an eventual actor, Shy laughed and pushed Junior Kengkoy with her just-a bit-above the limit commentary. To the happy-go-lucky Nan, all these were answered with a smile. Once he was alone with the boys, though, he decided to irritate her back. The main objective of the House Player, after all, was to test the character of the housemates, and looks like it’s just what Shy is doing.
As it is, the peace was already disturbed big time. The girls banded against one of their own, taking into offense the hospitality shown the newcomer. Rona, who took it upon herself to acclimatize Shy, found herself on the defensive as the other girls felt she was betraying them. At a loss, she approached Kuya, expressing her feelings of frustration and loneliness. Kuya reminded her that, out of 10 housemates, only 3 were mad at her. She then talked to Nan and Robi to ease her worries. Soon, the other girls took their turn at the Confession Room. Said Priscilla, “Sabihin na natin kay Kuya bago tayo tuluyang masira sa kanya.” For fear that Rona has told on them, they felt they should explain their side. If they were expecting a coddling from Kuya to appease them, they were sadly mistaken. Kuya wasn’t the least bit happy with the recent issues, and told them so. In argument to Val’s statement that one shouldn’t judge others, especially without knowing them fully (referring to Shy’s earlier stance that seemed to target Nikki and Josef’s supposed relationship in the house), Kuya reminded them that it was them who first judged Shy. Though he wasn’t absolving Shy of all blame, Kuya sated that the bulk of the wrong was by them, especially Pris who was vocal in expressing her distrust at first sight of Shy. Kuya was disappointed at their lack of hospitality, and asked them how they would feel if they were made to feel unwelcome. Pris then broke down, explaining that she was just helping her friends, but Kuya stuck to his word and told her to take it constructively, that of all she should be the one to understand the pain of discrimination. The other three were reprimanded for being easily swayed and not using their own judgment. Sincere or not, the girls readily approached Rona and Shy after to apologize. Rona was relieved and Shy was welcomed. Shy defended her own actions, as she had to hold her own despite the apparent antagonism. After, Pris stated, “You are now our sister.” Beauty broke the ice by asking if the House Player really talked in her sleep, to which Shy replied with a firm “yes”. All laughed, which left Alex and Josef, who were nearby, wondering what was up with the girls who were squabbling one minute and giggling the next.
After so much stress, two former housemates were brought in to add comic relief to the house. Jayson and Joaqui took turns playing Kuya’s mini-me and directed the other from the secret room. The one inside the house had to follow the impromptu tasks set by the other. Joaqui was first in and Jayson instructed him to give flowers to Val, dance with her (to which Ejay vainly ateempted to keep up), tweak Josef’s nose and Ejay’s ear, and surprised him with the creature Joaqui was known all over the country to be terrified of: a mouse. This had Joaqui running and screaming, at least until switching places with Jayson. Jayson had to tap the guys’ butts, pretend to pass gas, smell Beauty’s underarms, massage Nan using his elbows, and look at Alex’s circumcision! Despite the crazy stunts they pulled, both housemates expressed joy in being back, even for just a bit. With gusto, both claim: “Once a housemate, always a housemate!”
On to matters of the heart, the Nicosef issue is still ongoing, and Kuya decided to intervene. Josef was called in the Confession Room and asked about his relationship with Nikki. After a long time of letting them be, even Kuya said they were already too close for comfort. Despite Josef telling him that he wasn’t about to do anything to further the relationship as he had things to finish outside and would rather wait, Kuya lays down an iron fist and commands him to stay away from Nikki, and that he’s not allowed to tell her so. Josef agrees, but asks to be allowed to tell Alex, who will help him pull it off as it would be rude to Nikki to suddenly avoid her without reason.
