On Primetime: It’s the guardians turn to clash
April 19, 2008 1:50 AM

Linda finally tells the other housemates that she has opted for voluntary exit. Though they initially tried to stop her, they respected her decision, especially after knowing the reason behind it. They all agreed that, should they have to make the same choice, they would also prioritize their family. Hugs were shared all around, and Linda requested that they spend her last days with them being happy. That evening, as the housemates slept, Linda got to spend some time chit-chatting with Alex, her proclaimed crush. The guardians also felt for Linda, but also believe that no amount of fame and fortune can equal love. The teens fix a surprise for Linda: song numbers, flowers, a homemade card, short speeches and the classic group hug. As Linda entered the Confession Rooom to have her last moment with Kuya, she was greeted by an emotional Daddy Hans and her younger bro. Kuya informs Daddy Hans of Linda’s choice, of how she is a good housemate and a loving daughter, driving him to tears. After saying goodbye to all the guardians, Linda also shared a tight hug with buddy Beauty.

If the teens were learning to get along, the guardians were quite a different story. Daddy John and Tita Anna had a heated argument about the task to make ice cream. Daddy John felt that Tita Anna was not contributing as much. Mommy Carina and Mommy My Love, who were members of the other ice cream making team, also felt the brunt of John’s anger. Because of this, Mommy Carina had to have quiet time and Beauty was sent over. Mommy Minda was the peace maker, explaining that arguments were inevitable in all types of relationships, but the two wouldn’t hear of it. Beauty joined in and explained how she and Kevin finally got around to getting along, prompting Mommy Minda to comment about the child being wiser than her elders.

Will this tension between her and Daddy John strengthen Tita Anna’s resolve for her to exit, along with Josef? Who will be among the next nominated to follow Jieriel and Linda’s goodbye? Keep watching the updates on Uber and on Primetime, after Lobo.

PBB : Another failure for the teens and the Backlunds’ reunion

Another failure for the teens and the Backlunds’ reunion

Rona was the one who delivered the news of Linda’s voluntary exit to the housemates. Kuya also told Rona that she and the housemates must prepare a special tribute for the Bikini Babe. The boys were appointed the job of serenading Linda and giving her white roses. Josef offered the first rose, followed by Robi, who also sang the song Ngiti by Ronnie Liang. Kevin gave Linda a sweet kiss on the cheek before singing Linda’s favorite Selena tune, Dreaming of You. Alex gave the finale presentation singing Kim Chiu’s Crazy Love. The housemates clapped and cheered the two on. Soon everyone was enveloping Linda in one big hug, giving her well wishes and tearful farewells.

But Linda is all smiles today on Uber for her family is once again reunited on the show. Mommy Ningning also exited the house and were with her in the studio with Daddy Hans and her younger brother. Linda admitted to Mariel Rodriguez that she had mixed feelings when she left the house. The teen also revealed that even though she didn’t mingle that much with the others, she will still miss everyone a lot. Daddy Hans was obviously beaming beside Linda and Ningning, very happy to be with his family after years of separation.

Linda, however could be feeling relief too, for the housemates took their final test on the “Three Blind Maze” weekly task. The three teens to play the game were determined by three mice in a spinning roulette. Nicole and Priscilla’s names were announced consecutively, with the latter very worried of her disability. Pris was very thankful though when Robi’s name was drawn for the Atenean practiced in the maze diligently. The three only had 5 minutes to find the finish line and get their reward of a block of cheese, which they also had to eat up before the time is up.

Nicole was the first to reach the Finish line and was already nibbling on her cheese when Robi found her. Priscilla had difficulty reaching the end despite Robi and Nicole’s shouts. The Differently-Abled teen tried her hardest to pick up even the faintest sound of Robi’s voice. But unfortunately the teens clocked in at 11 minutes and 10 seconds. The housemates must now sacrifice 50% of their budget and continue their diet of vegetables and noodles for another week. With three loses and only one win, will the teens still have the spirit to succeed in the next weekly task? Also will Daddy John and Tita Anna’s fight force the latter to really voluntary exit and ruin Josef’s chances at the Big Win? Find out more on this later on Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus on Primetime Bida!
