Robi, Ejay, Jieriel, Kevin, Jolas, Linda and Nicole were summoned to the confession room for their daily task. Each came out carrying a coconut shell and a liquid floor wax. Soon enough all were down on their knees and scrubbing the floor. Though it was a tedious task for the energetic housemates, Gentle Giant Jolas saw its benefits – it was a natural work-out for his biceps. As for the Bubbly Girl Jieriel, using the bunot wasn’t alien to her since they conduct general cleaning weekly back in her home. The sheltered Nicole was executed the task with much poise while the Spanish Stallion was clueless with the coconut shell’s purpose.

First room to clean was the girls’ room. Nicole accidentally spilled floor wax on Rona’s bed and stained its sheets. She immediately hand washed the sheet with Jieriel’s help. Robi committed to the task with seriousness while Kevin and Jieriel discovered the strategy of enjoying the task. The Spanish Stallion fooled around with the bunot while Jieriel sang and dance to the envy of others.

Jolas then came up with an idea to use the coconut shell as props for the Kabataang Pinoy dance. He called them into position and all were thrilled at dancing a folk dance with a modern twist. Since Jolas choreographed the past 2 dance tasks, Kuya asked the girls to pitch in their ideas. Jieriel led Nicole and Linda in choreographing for the girls. Nicole commented that the steps were a bit difficult while Linda wanted to throw in her opinion. Jieriel though wasn’t able to consider this in the final choreography prompting the Bikini Babe to retreat to the sofa in utter frustration. Jolas offered to help the girls but Kuya gave strict instructions that he refrain from interfering with them.

The teen housemates were successful in making a tedious task enjoyable. However, it also caused a rift between the Bikini Babe and the Bubbly Girl. Eviction night is just days away, will they continue to let minor conflicts prevail in the already tense household? Or will these nominees enjoy their possible final week in Kuya’s house? Because of an unknown reason, Josef emerged from the Confession Room wearing gift ribbons on his head and could only be seated at a certain chair until the housemates could figure out what he was being punished for. Fortunately, he got a breather when PBB went live on air. No rest still, since Josef eventually got hit with the news that he was nominated by the other housemates to be evicted. After the live telecast, Josef had to go back to his seat.

What exactly was it about Josef that had them all sitting at the living room, guessing? None knew, not even Josef. Since figuring that out would be the only reason to “save” Josef, all were trying to understand what Kuya meant and began throwing questions at each other. Quite a number of issues stood out until they figured out the solution for Josef’s punishment. They tried apologizing to Kuya and tried to convince Josef to give the flowers to Linda. They had 4 clues to go on with: (1) kailangan gawin ang solusyon, (2) may kinalaman kay Josef, (3) may kinalaman sa pinalitan ni Josef and (4) walang kinalaman sa outside world. Finally, after piecing bits and pieces together, they figured out that it had something to do with the mystery box. It was so simple, yet they still couldn’t figure it out. As Ejay realizes, the reason why that couldn’t figure it out was because they were trying to think of complicated things, when in fact, the answer they’ve been waiting for was the simplest one. Josef is saved.

After such a straining evening, the housemates wound down by hanging out in small groups. Some played Uno, some exchanged thoughts and stories. Josef felt that two weeks was too short. The PBB experience was the start of new things for all of them. There were still many things to discover about each other. It was during this time that Josef finally got to react about his nomination. Pro-active, he wondered why people just couldn’t be frank enough to tell people if they got offended.

The first round of nominations by the housemates has passed. Having spent a couple of weeks together, it was difficult for many to have to vote out a comrade, but it has to be done. Kevin was the only one who was sure of his status inside the house after winning immunity in the first Tandem Game with the guardians. Host for the night Luis Manzano announced Jieriel as the first nominee for eviction. Linda was the next and Josef followed suit. The nominations, however, did not end there. Automatic nominations were also dealt out by Kuya, caused by a violation of the voting out procedure. House rule #9 states that no one is allowed to discuss nominations outside the confession room, directly or implied. To prove this, a video of the clear violation was shown. Because of this, Priscilla and Valerie were added to the list of first nominees.

At first, the nominees seemed frozen in the moment of revelation, stripped of the ability to reason out and react to the news. After listening to Luis recap the list, though, the reality of leaving Kuya’s house began to sink in. Jieriel and Valerie couldn’t help the tears from falling. Given the chance to plead for their spot, Valerie apologized for having done the violation, but what worried her more was letting her mom down. Priscilla apologized as well, promising to mind the rules next time. Jieriel’s agitation was obvious as she spoke in rapid Visayan, pleading with her family, friends, acquaintances and the like to help her remain in the house. Josef still managed to smile, and left the decision to the viewers, saying that if they thought he should still be part of the housemates, to vote for him. Linda’s speech was condensed in one word: help.

Tension inside the house will definitely go up several notches this week, as the reality of being evicted is very much evident. Even more pressure is on the first 5 nominees: Jieriel, Linda, Josef, Priscilla and Valerie. How will the housemates be able to continue their camaraderie in the house? Will they now see the experience primarily as a competition? If so, what changes will occur in their words and actions? What strain does this put on the guardians? The most important question is: Who will be the first to be evicted in Kuya’s house? More reason to stay updated.
